VOLUNTEER ROLES
SMALL GROUP LEADER – MIDDLE SCHOOL (GUYS OR GIRLS)
Walk alongside 6–8 middle school students, lead discussions, and help them grow in their faith. Same-gender groups.
Weekly commitment.
SMALL GROUP LEADER – HIGH SCHOOL (GUYS OR GIRLS)
Mentor high school students, lead discussions, and help them apply biblical truth to everyday life. Same-gender groups.
Weekly commitment.
Be the first face students and families see. Greet, assist with check-in, and help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal process.
Serve behind the scenes by setting up and resetting the space before and after gatherings. Flexible, practical service.
Prepare, serve, and organize snacks or meals. Help students feel welcomed, cared for, and connected through hospitality.
Commit to praying regularly for students, leaders, and ministry needs — on-site during gatherings or from home.
Help with games, activities, and special events. A flexible, high-energy role for those who love creating fun environments.
FIRST-TIME GUEST COORDINATOR
Personally welcome first-time students, help them feel comfortable, and follow up after their first visit.
WORSHIP LEADER / MUSICIAN
Lead or support student-friendly worship through vocals or instruments and help create a meaningful worship environment.
Run sound, media, or lighting during gatherings. Help create a distraction-free environment for worship and teaching.
Assist with organization, communication, scheduling, or follow-up tasks. Mostly behind-the-scenes and often remote.
PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY
Capture moments and stories through photos and short videos that help tell the story of Rise Up Genoa.
Create and schedule posts, share stories, and help communicate what God is doing through Rise Up Genoa.
Serve as a bridge between leadership and parents by sharing updates, answering questions, and building trust.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP COORDINATOR
Identify, recruit, and mentor student leaders who want to serve and lead within the ministry.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST:
✓ Submit to a background check (non-negotiable)
✓ Attend a pre-launch training session
✓ Align with Rise Up's mission, values, and statement of faith
