Q: How much does it cost?
A: FREE! No cost to attend regular gatherings. For special events like retreats or camps, we'll communicate costs in advance and offer scholarships if needed.
Q: What if my student has never been to church or youth group before?
A: Perfect! Rise Up is a safe place for students to explore faith, ask questions, and discover who Jesus is. We welcome students at every stage of their faith journey.
Q: Who will be supervising?
A: Background-checked adult leaders at a 1:8 adult-to-student ratio minimum. Safety is our top priority.
Q: What if my student doesn't know anyone?
A: That's okay! We'll make sure they feel welcomed and connected. Our leaders are intentional about helping new students feel at home.
Q: Is this connected to a specific church?
A: Rise Up is an independent student ministry. We partner with and encourage families to be involved in local churches. We're here to support students and families, not compete with existing churches.

SAFETY & POLICIES
Your student's safety is our highest priority. Here's how we ensure a safe environment:
✅ BACKGROUND CHECKS
All adult volunteers undergo thorough background checks before
serving with students.
✅ PROPER RATIOS
We maintain a minimum 1:8 adult-to-student ratio at all events.
✅ TWO-ADULT RULE
No adult is ever alone with a student. We always have multiple leaders present.
✅ FACILITY SAFETY
We inspect facilities for safety (fire exits, first aid, emergency plans) before every event.
✅ PARENTAL PERMISSION
We require signed permission forms for all students attending events.
✅ COMMUNICATION
We communicate with parents before, during, and after events to keep you informed.

We're looking for adults who will walk alongside students, serve behind the scenes, and help create a community where students encounter Jesus and grow in their faith. Volunteer roles include small group leaders, welcome team, setup team, hospitality team, prayer team, and more! All volunteers are background-checked and receive training and ongoing support.
