Student Ministry
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

Rise Up Student Ministry exists to help students in grades 6–12 encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover what it means to live boldly for Christ in their everyday lives. We're not just another youth group - we're building a community where students are known, valued, challenged, and equipped to rise up as leaders in their generation.
We believe students don't have to wait until they're older to make a difference. God is calling them to live with purpose and conviction right now - in their schools, on their teams, in their families, and among their friends.
We're raising up students who:
KNOW GOD PERSONALLY
Faith isn't inherited or secondhand - it's a real, personal relationship with Jesus that transforms everything.
LOVE OTHERS GENUINELY
Following Jesus means loving people well - friends, family, enemies, and everyone in between.
LIVE WITH INTEGRITY
Character matters. We're helping students become people whose lives match their words, both publicly and privately.
LEAD WITH HUMILITY
True leadership isn't about position or popularity - it's about serving others and pointing them to Jesus.
RELATIONAL
We're not running a program - we're building relationships. Students need adults who know their names, care about their lives, and walk with them through the ups and downs of growing up.
BIBLICAL
God's Word isn't outdated or irrelevant - it's living, active, and exactly what students need. We teach the Bible clearly, practically, and in ways that connect to real life.
RELEVANT
We don't shy away from the tough questions students are actually asking - about identity, purpose, relationships, suffering, doubt, and what it means to follow Jesus when culture says otherwise.
DEVELOPMENTAL
Middle schoolers and high schoolers are in different places - we meet students where they are and help them grow from wherever they're starting.
We believe students can lead today, not someday.
Older students are encouraged to step up - modeling Christlike character, serving younger students, and using their gifts to build up the community. We're intentional about creating opportunities for students to lead worship, serve on teams, disciple peers, and take ownership of their faith journey.
Leadership isn't about being perfect - it's about being faithful. We're raising up students who see themselves as ministers, not just ministry recipients.
Our prayer is that every student who walks through Rise Up will leave equipped and ready to live boldly for Jesus. We hope graduates of Rise Up Student Ministry will:
✓ Understand the gospel - Not just know about Jesus, but know Him personally and be able to share their faith with others
✓ Own their faith - Their relationship with Jesus is theirs, not their parents' or youth leaders'
✓ Read the Bible regularly - God's Word is their guide, not just something they hear on Sundays
✓ Pray confidently - They know God hears them and talk to Him like the loving Father He is
✓ Serve willingly - They see needs and step up without being asked
✓ Make wise choices - They filter decisions through Scripture, seek godly counsel, and live with integrity
What makes Rise Up different?
We're not trying to entertain students into heaven. We're not running a babysitting service with a Bible lesson tacked on. We're not asking students to wait until they're adults to live for Jesus.
We're calling them higher.
We believe this generation of students can handle more than shallow faith and surface-level Christianity. They're hungry for something real, something challenging, something worth giving their lives to.
We're inviting them to rise up - to live boldly, stand out from the crowd, and become the leaders God created them to be.
Not someday. Today.
Whether your student is exploring faith for the first time, has grown up in church, or is somewhere in between - there's a place for them at Rise Up.
We meet [day/time - to be added when confirmed] at [location - to be added].
Come rise with us!
RISE UP. STAND OUT. LIVE BOLD.
